Crab fishing at Jubilee!!

A new experience for us Austrian girls occurred last Sunday: crabbing at Jubilee!
Maggie and her nece Katie showed us how to do it. You put a piece of chicken meat on a string and throw it into the water. Than you wait. And wait. And wait.
'Til a crab is biting on your chicken, then you pull very slowly on the string and hope the crab is still there when you catch it with your net when you see it nearer the surface.
We caught 10 crabs with this method.
After boiling them with vinegar and Old Bay Seasoning we cracked them with a crab mallet.. It was very funny and exciting for us to crack the crabs and pick out the meat with our hands.
The meat was very delicious and we hope we can eat crab again. ;)
