Julie Randall invited us to join the effort for the Feed St. Mary’s Saturday and the interns were thrilled to be part of the distribution. Once finished, the final hanging chandelier brighter the room immensely. Jay Dameron and his son were very careful to strengthen the supports to the beams. This is one heavy chandelier. Kudos to the interns for following the instructions and assembling the gold and glass light.

On a visit to the Tobacco Barn Distillery, we learned that the corn used for the whiskey is grown on the farm - which assures its quality for the whiskey making. Hannah points to the place the deer continue to bed down, crushing the edge corn ever so annoyingly…

The hardest of work, moving large stones to finish the pond siding, adding a pathway from the upper garden, and a stepping path for kids who might not want to take the bridge route…. This was one of the finest accomplishments of the 2022 interns. The extra large birdbath continues to be appreciated as a wet summer gives way to a drier early fall.
