Crabbing with Mindy On July 22nd

Sophia, Tobias and I went crabbing with Mindy.

Early in the morning we prepered lines of string wrapped around a stake. We tied pieces of chicken onto the end of the strings, approximately 2-3 meters long. After that we went to the end of the dock at the water and threw out our crab lines. It didn’t take us long to catch the first crabs.

Most of the crabs were not big enough to eat - from point to point they must be at least 3.5 inches (. Following we went to Kellam’s Seafood store where we learned more about crabs and bought some od them. When Mindy showed us how to eat them, Klara, Eva and Anna joined us. For all of us this was the first time we ate crabs and they were delicious.
