Teaching Timothy the Duck & Friends to swim

We have ducklings, mostly because we need noisier fowl in the aviary to protect the chickens. The day we moved the chickens (see post on Moving the Hens & a Tiny (1) Cache of Roosters) was momentous. Then there arrived the 11 ducklings.

Called by the Leonardtown post office, we drove quickly to retrieve 11 ducklings just as another customer was leaving with a far bigger order of chickens. Who knew Leonardtown was such a hopping agricultural center?

Two escaped en route to Jubilee, but all 11 nestled that night into the Office pad which seconds as an arrival bedroom. So it will be for two weeks until the goslings arrive….

Cy plops Timothy into warm water for his first swim. A natural, of course.

P.S. In real life, Cy is a lifeguard.
